Dr Horia Elefterescu

Dr Horia Elefterescu  graduated the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with honorus in 1985 and obtained his PhD in 1996 (major orthopedics). Horia completed a Fulbright Fellowship in small animal surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine Ames, IA, USA, in 1997. He worked as Associate professor in surgery at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Bucharest, Romania until 2009 when he moved with his family to Australia. There he got his Master in Teaching degree at Australian Catholic University in 2011 and his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Horia moved in UK in August 2015 and worked for a few veterinary companies until May 2016 when he was invited to work as partner at Pakefield Veterinary Clinic with his former student Alex Dinu.

He has a special interest in orthopedics and soft tissue surgery. Now he is enrolled in Certificate in Advanced Practice with Royal Veterinary College.

Horia has also a MD degree and a PhD in human medicine and a Bachelor degree in biology. He practices Clinical hypnotherapy for human varies disorders obtaining his certificate in clinical hypnotherapy in Australia.

Horia is a long lasting judo player having black belt and he is a passionate wild life photographer.
